Poetry publication

It's great to s people inspired to keep writing, either just for yourselves or to share with others. If you are interested in submitting poems to journals or competitions, the following links might provide support and inspiration.
- For getting published in the UK, this excellent list of poetry magazines put together by Happenstance Press:
https://www.happenstancepress.com/index.php/poetry-submission/reputable-poetry-magazines
- Jo Bell's very useful and popular guide to keeping track of submissions:
https://belljarblog.wordpress.com/2015/01/08/submitting-to-journals-the-jo-bell-method/
A deadline can spur us on to work on a poem, so why not see what's out there.
- This list, updated monthly, has a range of potential calls for poems and opportunities to submit:

- The American-based Entropy website is a space to engage with other writers, plus has a range of resources including this list:

The hammer of Death

The hammer of Death
Strikes hard for I Lost
Many of recent Times
Reminder it does Loom
For each of us it Cost
Friendship and Joy
Travelling at such Speed
Circling matter Tossed
Earth a mere Chunk
Of debris in Universe's
Paths soon be Crossed
With other stray Objects
Play of eternal Entropy

Life around Time

We did not ask for this Life,
Or did we some may Claim.
With all the struggles 'n Strife,
It'll work out all the Same.
For this brief moment of Time,
Clinging to a third rock Around,
We seek a love to hold 'n Pine.
Forward on entropic cascade Mound.

What's that tool I See

What's that tool I See
Whatever can it Be
Brass looking with Scissor
Action, riveted a Clipper?
Numbered implies Multiple
Obviously used as Functional
Still unsure of it's Era
Leave, could be Chimera ...

Conflation of CAGW ideas

To me there seems to be a confusion:
1. Belief by some scientists using modelling that Earth surface Temp will inc. so much to be catastrophic due to trace Gas #CO2 alone.
2. Seeing the Solid Pollution into our Land & Oceans go unabated.
Conflating these togther

There seems to be a confusion:
1.Using Temp data & altering it in models to suite SOME scientists believe that Earth surface Temp will inc. so much to a catastrophic level due to trace Gas #CO2 alone.
2.Solid Pollution into our Land & Oceans go unabated.

3.Clearing woodland.

Born of a moment's Love or Lust reprise

Born of  a moment's Love or Lust
Into this world from Above Thrust

Plucked from the Womb
Where will be our Tomb

Belief in our Permanence
Through universe's subtle Dance

Parents our only User Guide
Yet still we to others we do Chide

In fake Omniscience we Judge
Deep stored held to a Grudge

The belief in that Singularity
Yet with no real shame or Hilarity

At others in our grave we Race
Independence leaves no more Space

Leads us by this Cosmic Chance
Such assumed brief self Importance

Born of a moment's Love.

Born of a moment's Love or Lust,
Into this world from Above and Thrust.

Plucked from the protective Womb,
Where will be our final Tomb?

Belief in our albeit transient Permanence,
Through Universe's subtle entwined Dance.

Parents our only User-Guide,
Yet still we to others doth Chide.

In fake Omniscience we do Judge,
Deep stored held to a Grudge.

The belief in that Singularity,
Yet with no real shame or Hilarity.

At others to our grave we Race,
Independence leaves no more Space.

Leads us by this Cosmic Chance,
Such assumed, but brief self-Importance!
