Shallow Triumph

Have found that you and I
No matter how internally we Cry 
Are deep down quite Shallow, 
This means cupid's Arrow, 
Falls down so easily for a Flaw, 
Before it's used again to Draw, 
Be honest with your internal Chatter
These nuances do really Matter
Mutual perceived Advantages
Vied from dreamt Vantages
Is it just mind's Confabulation,
That bridge or Mind's Equation
Cushioning our Judgement
Before Coupling if Triumphant!
